Sixty percent of all people who have arthritis are women, who tend to be the guardians of their families’ health as well, making women an important piece in the movement to prevent and treat arthritis. As we continue to join together and raise awareness on the importance of daily physical activity to prevent and treat arthritis, Let’s Move Together is happy to announce its partnership with Lifetime Television and its new morning show, The Balancing Act.
The Balancing Act is dedicated to helping women balance the demands of life, including physical activity key to preventing and treating arthritis. Lifetime Television is a proud media partner of the Arthritis Foundation’s Let’s Move Together movement, encouraging people to join the campaign to encourage daily physical activity for better health.
In addition to airing segments introducing Let’s Move Together to viewers, The Balancing Act will air videos submitted to the Show Us Your Moves contest. Hosts Beth Troutman and Kristy Villa will encourage viewers to submit their own videos and show their favorite ways to “move.”
Targeting the woman who is juggling career and home, and who wants to get it right when it comes to health, family, finances and lifestyle, The Balancing Act informs, enlightens and shares solutions on how to be a success on all fronts.
